Godfrey Boyd founded Wintergarten in 2018 with an idealistic vision of what consulting could be. Friends have referred to the model jokingly as communist consulting. Godfrey describes it as “a company designed to support senior consultants to take on new challenges, meet interesting clients, solve their problems, and have control of their income and future.”
Wintergarten Consulting is based on the best of consulting and avoiding the worst. Our motto is Capable, Trusted, and Ready. We support our businesses in creating change and driving outcomes in Project Management, Technology, Risk Management, and general business consulting. Wintergarten’s clients have covered Banking and Finance, Insurance, State Government, Legal, not-for-profit, and FMCG. Our approach is based on the client’s future needs and building a relationship based on trust and outcomes. Most of all, we start with a problem, something that is causing grief and worry that we can help resolve.
Philosophically, the company is about equity. We ensure that consultants work in a collegiate environment with a fair proportion of the rate the client pays. Consultants, clients, and the company have complete transparency in allocating a rate. Our approach is to ensure that those who do the work gain the benefit and the client is in agreement with that split. Our interest is in the delivery we can create and the well-being of all involved.
